It seems the Fujitsu FLEPia eBook nears commercialization, first in Japan then elsewhere. See my earlier post on the FLEPia color eBook.
See a web page here (in Japanese) showing what seems to be an A4 and A5 models.
It looks like it will be commercially available from 2008.
Up to 1000 devices are available already for evaluation purpose. (14K USD for 10 A5 devices and 25K USD for 10 A4 devices).
Some specs:
Battery run-time: 50 hours (not bad for color! off course the color maybe not that great...)
OS: Windows CE5.0
Network: IEEE 802.11b/g
Others: USB2.0, SD slot
Expected price: 400-600USD in 2009
